HELEN GERALDINE (WALLER) HAMEL born in Sarnia on December 3, 1925 passed away on Thursday, November 22nd, 2007. Beloved wife of Ron Hamel for 63 years. Survived by her children Paul and his wife Mary, and Terry. Loving grandmother of Paul Duke and Kay and Daryl and Ashley. Great grandmother of Riley and Griffin Hamel . Sister of Doris Tremain, Vi Henderson, John (Duke) Waller and his wife Joan and Doug Waller and his wife Gaysie. Sister-in-law to Betty Waller, Roy Reynolds and Pauline Cassidy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Bloss (Duke) and Rachel (Sandham) Waller, brother Chris Waller, sister Jean Reynolds and brothers-in-law Irvin Tremain and Bob Henderson. A celebration of Helen’s life will take place in the Chapel of the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Monday November 26th at 1:00 pm with Reverend Joyce Hodgson officiating. Interment to follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Sunday between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
