At Bluewater Health - Mitton St. on Monday, January 14, 2008, RICHARD ARDEN SCHINKEL, age 69, of Sarnia, beloved husband of Victoria (Perozak) Schinkel. Dear father of Richard Schinkel Jr. and his wife Patricia of Ottawa, Carol Ann Gayle of Port Elgin and Laura Shand and her husband Tim of Sarnia. Loving grandfather of Ashley, Jordan, Avery, Kelsey, Joshua, John and Katie and great grandfather of Jackson. Brother of Irwin and his wife Jan of London and Adeline Trapp of St. Catharines. Predeceased by parents Fredrick and Carol Schinkel and sister Anita Kuester. A longtime Imperial Oil Ltd. contractor, Mr. Schinkel was retired from SNC Lavalin and was a Sarnia resident for 40 years. Cremation. A memorial service will be held from the Chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, January 17th at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Inn of the Good Shepherd (Cheques only please).
