Robert (Bob) Cooke

After a brief illness, on Monday, January 25, 2010, ROBERT (BOB) COOKE, age 84, of Sarnia, husband of Lorene Wilson. Dear father of Laura and Robbie Cooke at home, Chris Cooke of British Columbia and Sue Gow of Toronto. Several grandchildren also survive. Bob was a World War II Navy Veteran. He was born in Santa Monica, California and came to Sarnia in 1946 as a Chief Engineer at C.H.O.K. for 46 years and was an Engineering Technician for C.K.C.O. for many years. When some men want to retire, Bob started a second family. Cremation has take place. Friends will be received by the family at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #62, 286 N. Front St., on Sunday, January 31st at 2:00 pm. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society (cheques only please). Arrangements entrusted to the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE.
