Death Notice

At Marshall Gowland Manor on Sunday, February 28, 2010, JAMES FRANKLIN HARTWICK, age 80, loving husband of Betty (Lemon) Hartwick, of Sarnia. Dear father of Lynda Christian of BC, Joe Hartwick and his wife Debbie of BC and Doug Hartwick and his wife Debbie of Sarnia. Cherished grandfather of John (Alisha), David (Tasha), Alicia, Tayler and Robert and great grandfather of Talin, Tamitha and Samuel. Brother of Florence Nicholson and her late husband Mac of Kincardin and Kenneth and his wife Rollande of Cornwall. Many nieces and nephews also survive. A retired CN Trainman and Treasurer of CN Pensioners, Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also a member St. Paul 601 Masonic Lodge A.F.& A.M., Sarnia, Scottish Rite Valley, Sarnia and London, Lambton Shrine Club Oriental Band and Mocha Temple, Rose Croix, Moore Sovereign Consistory 32nd, Sarnia Naval Association and High Park United Church. Funeral service will be held from the Chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Friday, March 5th at 11:00 am with Reverend Carol Ferguson officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon and evening from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. The St. Paul 601 Masonic Lodge A.F./A.M. will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home on Thursday at 7:00 pm. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Shriners Children’s Hospital (cheques only please). Messages of condolence may be sent to family through djrobbfh@ebtech.net

Visitation

Visitation will be held at the D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday afternoon and evening from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm.

Service

Funeral service will be held from the Chapel of the D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, March 5th at 11:00 am. The St. Paul 601 Masonic Lodge A.F./A.M. will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home on Thursday at 7:00 pm.
