Forbes, Katherine Mary (Kae). It is with great sadness that the family of Kae Forbes announce her peaceful passing at the age of 83 on Monday, April 26, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Hospice Sarnia. Beloved wife, of nearly 60 years to Roy. Loving mother of Krystal Butler and Kelley Buscema. Endearing mother -in -law to Tim Butler and Peter Buscema. Adored and cherished “Annie” and “Gramma” to Michael Butler and Nicole and Christopher Buscema. Predeceased by her parents Harley (1965) and Alva McRae (2003) and her sister Gayle Brown (1989). Kae is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many dear friends, both in Sarnia and her summer cottage at St. Joseph, Ontario. A wonderful wife, mother and grandmother Kae devoted her life to faith, family and friends and will always be remembered as a kindly and loving lady. Our heartfelt thanks are extended to Dr. Perera of the London Regional Cancer Clinic, the Sarnia Cancer Clinic, Dr. M. Dostaler, the exceptional staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice, and Kae’s V.O.N. nurses, especially Sheila. At the family’s request there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (Sarnia) on Saturday May 1st , 2010 at 11:30 a.m. by Reverend Father L. Desjardins. Interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed by donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, the Breast Cancer Society of Canada or to the charity of your choice.(cheques only please).
