Florence Nesbit

At her residence on Monday, August 16, 2010, FLORENCE REBECCA (ESSON) NESBIT, age 77 of Sarnia passed away. She was the loving wife of the late Merlyn (Shorty)Earl Nesbit (1992) and dear mother of Douglas Nesbit and wife Aurora of Calgary, Donald Nesbit and his late wife Judy (2007), Irene Taylor and husband Rick, Donna Jones and husband Bob, Isabel Mackey and husband Barry and Walter Nesbit all of Sarnia. She is also survived by many grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is the sister of Pauline Higgins of Wallaceburg, Georgina Countryman and Jean Smith and her husband Harold of Sarnia and sister in law of Isabell Davies of Sarnia. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her grandson Kevin Mackey (2005). Funeral services will be held from the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Sarnia on Saturday, August 21st at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery in Brigden. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Memorial gifts to the Salvation Army or Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
