Mildred Byrl Schleihauf

SCHLEIHAUF, Byrl ? Byrl died peacefully on April 4, 2006 in Petrolia. She was born July 20, 1921 in West Lorne, and while most recently of Petrolia and Sarnia, she was previously a long time resident of Toronto. Byrl served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. Byrl was predeceased by her parents, Philip and Janet Schleihauf (nee Pollard) and her four brothers Ivan, Glen, Donald and John. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Fiddick?s Nursing Home, in Petrolia, who provided the utmost in care, compassion, love and warmth during the last three years of her life. Visitation will be held Friday, April 7 from 7 to 9 pm at D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME in Sarnia. Funeral service to be held on Saturday, April 8 at 11:30 am at DJ Robb Funeral Home Chapel, 102 Victoria Street North, Sarnia, (519) 336-6042. Donations are requested in lieu of flowers to The Salvation Army, The Bruce Trail Association, or The Fiddick?s Activity Fund.
