?Gone to be home with her Maker?, after a courageous battle with cancer at Bluewater Health Palliative Care on Monday, April 24, 2006, MARGARET JEAN (LUMLEY) SCOTT, age 74, of Sarnia, beloved wife of Gordon Scott and dear mother of Linda McCaffery and her husband John of Hamilton, David Scott and his wife Kathy of Sarnia, Mark Scott and his wife Debra of Brights Grove and Bill Scott and his loving partner Sherry Smith of Sarnia. Also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Mae Stewart and her husband George and Bob Lumley and his wife Marlene all of Sarnia and Carol Handy and her husband Paul of Kingston. Predeceased by her father and mother Joseph and Mary Lumley and granddaughter Kimberly Anne. One of Margaret?s passions was knitting beautiful baby outfits for her grandchildren, Vision Nursing Home Bazaars, Church Bazaars and Ladies Auxiliaries. She was an avid reader and deserved a gold medal for being the best pastry maker. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, April 27th at 11:00 a.m. with Connie Ellis of St. Luke?s United Church officiating. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Capital Fund of St. Luke?s United Church.
