DAVID WALTER HENDRIE ASH - At Bluewater Health - Norman Site on Thursday, November 23, 2006, David Walter Hendrie Ash, of Point Edward, born in 1934. Loving son of the late Bessie Hendrie Ash and Walter Ash and husband to his loving wife Lillian May (Tomlinson) Ash. Father and best friend to son David Ash Jr. and his wife Holly (Bullock), who he calls his daughter, and loving grandfather to Laura and Lindsay Ash. Father to Darryle Chong, our #3 son. Brother of Donald Ash and his wife Jean and Joanne Avery and her husband Jack. Brother-in-law of Vivian (Mickey) Ash, Mary Jane and Jim McDonald, Edith and Don Osborne and Shirley June and John Root. A loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Robert Wayne Ash (1978) and brother William Ash. Dave was a tireless worker and long time member of the Point Edward Optimist Club. He was also a member of the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club and active member of the Bluewater Anglers Association. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Monday, November 27th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bluewater Anglers Association or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
