Allan Kenneth Mason

February 25, 1954 — December 18, 2022

Allan Mason passed away peacefully with family by his side at the age of 68. Beloved husband and constant companion of the late Brenda Mason (2019). They enjoyed many years camping and tending to their home.

Allan is survived by step sons Bob Sauvé (Karen) and Mike Sauvé. He was a proud grandfather to Bob and Karen’s children Megan, Darcy and Genna. Allan loved his computer and the highlight of the day was receiving daily texts from Bob letting him know what was happening in Ottawa.

Allan was the eldest son of Jim (2019) and Phyllis Mason, brother to Linda (Ron) Core, Carolanne (Bill) Gillam and the late, much missed brother, Stephen (Toby) Mason (2000). He was very close to his family and greatly appreciated all the support they gave him. He loved hearing about the adventures of his nephews and nieces, and the antics of his great nephews and nieces always brought a smile or a shake of his head.

He will be missed by his special cousins John Mason, Fern Gibbs, and Uncle Dave Stamm. They kept in close contact and provided him much joy.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Bayshore HealthCare for all the years they provided excellent care. A special thanks to his longtime nurses Blaine and Matt who were very good to him and people he considered friends.

Cremation has taken place and his ashes will be joined with his late wife and laid to rest.

The arrangements have been entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., N7T 5W9, Sarnia). Memories, messages of condolence or photographs may be shared through ww.djrobb.on.ca.condolence may be shared at www.djrobb.on.ca
