The family sadly announces the passing of Alyssa Lacey Marie Plain, aged 33 in Toronto on December 19, 2025. Left behind to mourn her loss are her mother Marina Plain, stepfather Jonathan Parker, cherished son Santana Plain, and her brothers Daniel & Nathan Plain. She will be greatly missed by her Aunt Sherry Ritchie (Gabriel), uncles Dallas Plain, Devin and Burt Simcoe, Joseph Chirico, many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Alyssa was a Sundancer, she embraced Anishinaabe traditions & culture. In 2024, she received her Anishinaabe name, White Thunder Woman. The family held a sacred fire in her home community, Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
Alyssa had a passion for culinary art, all genres of music, helping others and spending time with fur babies Maggie and Lilo.
She was predeceased by her Grandmother Iva Marie Simcoe, Grandfather Kenneth Simcoe, sister Chenoa Lee Plain-Firth and Aunt Brenda Plain. Alyssa also had ties to Kettle and Stony Point First Nation.
