Annette "Joyce" Kingdon

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Annette “Joyce” (Fyfe) Kingdon at Afton Park Place Nursing Home on Thursday, August 13, 2026. Joyce was born in Bruce Mines, Ontario on August 28, 1933. Her family relocated to Sarnia where she attended SCITS high school. Joyce spent her working career as an accountant. She was the loving wife of the late Eugene (Gene) Kingdon (2021) and the dear mother of Beverley Gilbert (Brian), Brian Kingdon (Lori), Sandra Gagnon and Kelly Taylor (Jasen), grandmother of Jamie Gagnon, Sydney Taylor, Jakeb Taylor and Vincent Barnes-Kingdon and great grandmother of Ainsley Gagnon and Adalynn Gagnon. Joyce was predeceased by her parents Walter and Gertrude (Rickaby) Fyfe, brothers Alan, Frank, William and her sister Bertha. Many thanks to the staff at Afton Park Place for their continued care and support.

Private cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 102 N. Victoria St, Sarnia, ON, N7T 5W9. A celebration of Joyce’s life will be held later. Memories and messages of condolence may be sent through www.djrobb.on.ca
