Audrey Margaret Hackett

HACKETT, AUDREY, Margaret, Catherine  – At Fiddick’s Nursing Home, Petrolia, Ontario on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, Audrey Margaret Catherine  ( Doan)  Hackett, passed away in her 95th. year. She was the wife of the late Garner Edward Hackett (1987). Dear mother of Owen Hackett and his wife Irene of Coquitlam, B.C. Loving grandmother of Jefferson “Jeff” Hackett and his wife Babe of Kamloops, B.C. Also survived by her sister  Doreen Charlton of Petrolia, Ontario and nephews; Rodney & Pam Charlton and Bruce & Marie Charlton both of Petrolia, Ontario and John Doan of London, Ontario. Predeceased by her parents Harmon and Ella Doan. Audrey lived on Lakeshore Road near Blackwell for many years and worked for Keelan’s Service Limited as a Service Department Manager. She was a previous member of Canon Davis Memorial Anglican Church as well as a founding member of St. David’s Anglican Church where she began and taught Sunday School beginning in 1956. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life to honor Audrey will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.at the D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria Street, Sarnia)  with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time.Private family committal will follow. Memorial donations may be made to a Charity of Choice. Arrangements entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia).
