Bessie Christena Pembleton

PEMBLETON, BESSIE – Peacefully in her sleep at Vision Nursing Home on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, Bessie Christena (Bulman) Pembleton, age 94 of Sarnia passed away. She was the loving wife of the late Frederick (Ted) Pembleton (2008) and dear mother of Mary Churchill and Stephen Pembleton (Eva), grandmother of Jeff (Diane), Matthew, Stephanie (Andrew), Chistena, Jennifer (Matthew), Jodi (Mike), Krisztian, Michelle and 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Orville and Mary Bulman, her sister Edna (Cecil), brothers Ted (Marg), Max (Helen), Jack and son in law James. Bessie was employed at Canadian Food Inspection Agency from 1956 until her retirement in 1985. She was a past member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She and Ted enjoyed camping, skating, cross country skiing and cruise vacations. Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held. Memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre.
