Betty Viola Waller

WALLER, BETTY VIOLA (STEERS) – December 22, 1921-December 28, 2016, born in Toronto, ON and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Bluewater Health at the age of 95. She was predeceased by her husband Christopher (Duke) Waller (December 31, 1997).  In their 56 years of marriage, they had a beautiful life together. She was the loving and caring mother of Marlene Ross (Dave) and proud grandmother of Heather Anderson (Mike), Leanne Farough (Tate) and Wendy Restivo (Peter) and GG of Cole and Brock Anderson, Reagan and Reese Farough, and Noah and Avery Restivo.  Loved mother-in-law to Dave Ross.  Betty was a faithful member of St. Paul’s United Church.  Survived by nieces Debbie Schulte (Clark) and Donna Steers of Arizona, brothers and sisters-in-law Vi Henderson, Doris Tremain, John and Joan Waller, Doug Waller as well as many nieces and nephews in Sarnia.   She was predeceased by her parents Aleitha (Ough) and Frederick Steers, brother and sister-in-law Fred (Ted) and Fran Steers and nephew Todd Steers of Arizona, brothers and sisters-in-law Jean and Roy Reynolds, Helen and Ron Hamel, Bob Henderson, Irvin Tremain, and Donna Waller all of Sarnia. A sincere and heartfelt “thank you” to the nurses and doctors on the 4th and 5th floors of Bluewater Health.  Many thanks to nurses, PSW’s and staff at Twin Lakes Retirement Home where Betty enjoyed 3 years there. Honouring Betty’s wishes, a private service will be held at the D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N.
