Beverly Charlene Thompson

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Beverly Charlene Thompson at Bluewater Health on Wednesday, May 9, 2018. Beverly is now reunited with her most precious grandson Nathan Thompson who passed away in 2007.  She is survived by her husband Mike Thompson of over 47 happy years, Beverly will be sorely missed by her 2 sons David Thompson his wife Stacey and Kevin Thompson his wife Jen and by her adoring grandchildren Natasha, Nicolette, Hunter, Adam, Cashius, Nevaeh and Nya . She is also survived by siblings Lloyd Shortt (Laurel), Vicki Drydak (David), Karen Scott (Matt), Peggy Lamont (Doug),Tammy Shortt, Phyllis Welch (Don) and was predeceased by her parents Barbara and Lloyd Shortt Sr. and sister Grace Ann and nephew Less Shortt. Beverly will be missed by a host of nieces and nephew, extended family and her many friend’s as well as her dog Chloe. Beverly was a custodian at St. Clair High school. She enjoyed her job but truly loved the friendships developed with her co – workers and  teachers. Services will be held at the D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St, Sarnia) on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., friends may visit at the funeral home one hour prior to service time. Interment of ashes will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
