William “Bill” Robb

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William John Robb, age 70, of Sarnia, on April 25th. He was the loving husband of the late Jennifer (Kelley) Robb and the former husband of Jan Robb (Al) with whom he raised their children, Kevin Robb (Sophia) and Katie Robb (Cormac). Bill was the cherished brother of Christine Hammill (Dennis) and Jimmy Robb (Linda), and brother in law of Pam Kelley and Heather May. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Bob and Mary Robb. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A lifelong resident of Sarnia, Bill proudly co-owned and operated the Robb Family Funeral Home. He retired in 2008 after 32 years in the family business, which was established by his grandfather in 1924. A true dog lover, Bill found joy and companionship in the many pets who were part of his life over the years. Golf was one of Bill’s greatest passions, but nothing meant more to him than time shared with family and friends, both on and off the course. He was a long time and proud member of the Sarnia Golf & Curling Club. Visitation will be held at the chapel of the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Friday May 2nd from 10:30am. The funeral service will follow at 12:30pm.
