Bronislaw (Bruno) Sawicki

At his residence on Tuesday, September 10, 2013, Bronislaw (Bruno) Sawicki, age 88, of Sarnia, passed away. Cherished husband for 63 years to Natalia Sawicki. Much loved father of Roman Sawicki of Toronto and Victor Sawicki of Los Angeles. Grandfather of Nicholas and Roman Jr. Bruno was an Electrical Engineer for C.I.L. and I.C.I. and retired from Lambton College where he taught electronics. He also served for six years in World War II with the Second Polish Corps/8th British Army in North Africa and Monte Cassino - Italy. Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Eugeniusz Dziedzic at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 13th, 2013 at Queen of Peace Church (566 Rosedale Ave., Sarnia). Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Father Josef Pucka Scholarship Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.
