Charlene Murielle Brooks

On the Wings of a Dove, Charlene began a new Journey on Friday, January 23rd, 2026, at the age of 79. Charlene retired from Bell Canada in 1995 after 31 years of service. She was predeceased in 2022 by her best friend and ever-loving dear husband Richard (Dick) Brooks of 58 years. She was predeceased by her parents Roy and Olive Munday, brother Ronald and sister Maxine. Charlene will always be remembered for her love of life, love of animals, nature and the great outdoors. Despite the many obstacles Charlene met in her life she was able to enjoy the freedom of travel for many years with her husband throughout North America including Hawaii, the Caribbean, Mexico and cruising the waters of Alaska. Charlene cleared many a path for others to follow in life and we will now walk that path hand in hand as we cherish the memories she left behind. There will be no service and cremation has taken place. Interment was held at Resurrection Cemetery in Sarnia.
