Danny David JUNEK

 August 1, 1954 - October 28, 2022

 JUNEK, Danny David, of Sarnia, ON passed away in the familiar comfort of his own home on October 28,2022 at the age of 68. Danny was born to predeceased Henry Junek and Ann Junek (née Kuchta), along with surviving siblings Gail Ward (Patrick Ward, deceased), and Jody Portelance (Barry Ouimet). He and family mourned at the premature losses of nephews Meddie-Joe Ouimet, and Christopher Patrick Ward. Danny is also survived by his loving Mum, Barbara Junek (née Worsley), daughter Carissa Maltby (Darrel Maltby), grandchildren Tyler and Emily Maltby, nephew Jeromy Baxter, and niece Kelli Carty (Wayne Carty Jr.).

Danny worked for most of his employment years at Nova Chemicals before enjoying every bit of his retirement. Among his many talents were sketching, painting, woodworking, and singing while playing guitar. He had been involved with Sarnia Artists' Workshop as he developed excellent oil paintings. Danny loved camping with his family, even in his own back yard as "Camp Papa" later in life. He was always a vivid storyteller around the campfire or card table. He was also brilliant at any game he played; be it chess, backgammon, cards, pool, golf, badminton, or catch with a baseball and glove with grandkids.
