David "Dougall" Janes

JANES, DAVID – At Bluewater Health on Thursday, February 21, 2019, David “Dougall” George Janes, age 61 of Brigden, passed away suddenly. He was the dear husband of Patty (Moran) Janes and loving father of Cassandra (Kevin). He is also survived by his brother Paul and family friend Laurie Willert. He was predeceased by his parents Dougall and Marion (McLachlin) Janes and his brother Tom Janes. David was an employed at CNR for over 40 years and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed golf, fishing, quadding and NFL Sundays. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Dave’s life will be held at the Navy Club (1420 Lougar Ave. Sarnia) on Sunday March 3rd from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Memorial gifts made to Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
