Dick Oughtry Graham

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family while listening to Country Music Classics  at Trillium Villa Nursing Home on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, Dick Graham, age 91 of Sarnia has passed away. He was the dear husband of the late Anna (McFarlane) Graham (1994) and Lorraine Brand (2014). Loving father of Kevin (Marilyn) and Karl (Hidemi), grandfather of Jenna, Alexander, Lindsay, Jack and Yuki. Also survived sister in-laws; Barb Graham and her husband the late Bill Graham, Theresa Graham and her husband the late Donald Graham, Ilene Graham and her husband the late Raymond Graham. Also predeceased by sisters Phyllis Roberts and her husband the late Edwin Roberts, Dorothy Turner and her husband the late Don Turner. Survived by sister in - law Berna Rouhan and her husband the late Nat Rouhan. Also will be missed by many nieces and nephews. He was a longtime faithful member of St. Paul’s United Church, Sarnia, serving his church on many committees, as an elder and as a Board member for over 65 years. Dick was an elementary school principal involved locally in the Ontario Public School Teacher’s Federation in the District as a Ministry Course Instructor, Curriculum worker, Chairman in Regional Council and was twice the President of the Elementary Principal Association for over 36 years, retiring in 1984. Dick was an avid lawn bowler and member of the Sarnia Lawn Bowling Club.  Friends may visit with the family at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia, N7T 5W9) on Friday, September 28th. between the hours of 4 - 7 p.m. The funeral service will be from St. Paul’s United Church, 360 Devine St, Sarnia on Saturday, September 29th. at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Matthew Stevens officiating. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to St. Paul’s United Church or to the Lambton Kent Public School Board. Arrangements have been entrusted to the D. J.
