Donald Morley Johnston

Peacefully at Chatham Kent Health Alliance on Thursday February 29, 2024 DONALD MORLEY JOHNSTON passed away at the age of 73 yrs.  Brother of Garry (Kerry) Johnston and Gloria (Bill) Crevier.  Uncle to many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents Harold Johnston (1993), Margaret (Donaghy) Johnston (1952) and Teresa (Golda) Johnston (2007). 

Don was raised in Bright’s Grove and Sarnia and attended St. Pat’s high school. He loved to read. Books with crime solving detectives were his favourite . 

He was also an excellent artist.  It was amazing what he could create with a pencil and a sketch pad. 

In his earlier years, Don never seemed to set down any roots, he spent time in Montreal, Vancouver, Ottawa, Europe and Sarnia.  Later years found him settling in Toronto where he loved to garden with friend Dianne.  He and friend Paul would get on their bikes and ride many miles finally settling in Wallaceburg.  He found peace with God with help from A.A. and many friends like Mike. 

A celebration of Don’s life will be held on Saturday March 9^th in the Wellness Room at River City Vineyard (260 N. Mitton St. Sarnia) from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
