Donna "Lynn" Hornbostel

At the age of 66, Donna “Lynn” Hornbostel passed away on Friday, April 14th, 2017 at Meadowview Villa in Petrolia, Ontario.  Born January 12, 1951, she is predeceased by her parents, Richard and Donna Hall of Sarnia, Ontario.

Lynn was a long-time resident of Sarnia and moved to Petrolia in 2009. She loved spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed camping, listening to music and spending Sunday nights with friends at the Bridge Tavern in Point Edward.  Lynn loved to travel and take road trips to her favourite destinations such as Niagara Falls, Florida, Chicago and Branson. 

Lynn is survived by her brothers Dennis Hall and Gerry Hall; son Derek (Kim) Hornbostel; two daughters Dawn (Don) Mitchell and Devon Hornbostel; and four grandchildren McLayne, Kwynlyn and Gueryn Mitchell, and Keegan Hornbostel.

A heartfelt thank you is extended to Dr. Daniel and the exceptional nurses and support staff at Meadowview Villa in Petrolia for their wonderful care.

Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery Sarnia.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the St. Joseph’s Hospice of Sarnia Lambton (http://www.stjosephshospice.ca/)
