Donna (Stewart) Moore

MOORE, DONNA - At PeopleCare Nursing Home in Tavistock, Ontario, on Saturday, June 10, 2017, Donna (Stewart) Moore, age 87 passed away peacefully, after a very brief illness. She was the loving wife of the late Thomas “Lefty” Moore (2015) and mother of Michael Moore and his wife Rosalind of Winnipeg, MB, Maureen Janssen and her husband Mike of Bright, ON and dear grandmother of Marcus and Megan Moore, Matthew and Michelle Janssen. She is also survived by her brothers Grant Nichols (Solveig) and William Nichols (Connie). She was predeceased by her parents, Madeline (Charlton) and Neil Stewart, her step-mother, Velma Nichols, her sisters Betty Moore and Helen Lannin and her brother James Stewart.  Born in Windsor, Ontario, Donna spent her adult life in Sarnia, raising her family and helping others.  She was a very active charter member of Grace United Church, Life member of Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority and long-time member of the Sarnia Golf & Curling Club.  Her friendly smile, her amazing creativity and her continuous service to others will be greatly missed. Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, June 16th   2017 at Grace United Church (990 Cathcart Blvd., Sarnia) at 11:00 am, followed by a luncheon. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N.
