Elizabeth "June" Rand

RAND, JUNE - It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of June at the Helen Henderson Care Centre in Amherstview, Ontario on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. Elizabeth June (Carson) Rand, age 89 was the wife of the late Robert W Rand (1985). She is the dear mother of Carson Rand and his wife Nancy of Kingston and proud grandmother of Samantha Rand and her partner Eric and of Cameron Rand and his partner Alicia. She is the great grandmother of Desmond and Evelyn. Dear sister-in-law of Evelyn "Buddy" Carson. She was predeceased by her brother Stuart Carson. June was an active and longtime member of the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club, both in curling and golf. She was also an avid bridge player who played in many bridge clubs. June will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Cremation will take place and a celebration of June’s life will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) and will be announced at a later date. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
