Elizabeth Temple

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Liz) Ellan Mary Temple on August 14, 2026, at the age of 84, a long-time resident of Bright’s Grove. Elizabeth was the beloved wife of her late husband, Ian Temple, and dear mother to Christopher and Andrew (Stephanie). She was born during World War II in Redcar, North Yorkshire, England, in 1942, to Vera Betsy Cook, and later cherished her father, known affectionately as "Pops." She was a sister to Peter, David, Brian, and Shelia.

During the summers, Liz could often be found gardening, feeding birds, or enjoying golf with friends. She devoted herself to her family until the end. In a final act of generosity, she donated her body to the University of Western Medicine to benefit future generations. In accordance with her wishes, no service will be held.
