Erie Gertrude Everingham

EVERINGHAM, ERIE – At Bluewater Health on Sunday, September 10, 2017, Erie Gertrude (Walker) Everingham, age 88 of Sarnia passed away. She was the loving wife of Raymond Everingham (1997) and dear mother of Frank Griffin (Lorraine), Charlie Griffin, Patricia Henderson, Elgin Everingham (Dianne Long) and Carla Everingham. Several grandchildren also survive. She was predeceased her daughter Ellie Colling, her sisters Dorothy Walker, Rita Hannigan and her brothers George and Elgin. Erie was the owner/operator of the Plaza Variety at Northgate for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo and loved trailering with family and knitting. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will follow later at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Sarnia Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
