Florence Winifred Kenolty

With sad hearts we announce the passing of Florence (Shand) Kenolty on November 23, 2025 at the age of 98. Wife of the late William (Bill) Kenolty. Daughter of Violet and CD Shand, Beloved Mother of Paul Hansen (Shannon) of Sarnia, David Hansen (Louann) of Alberta. Grandsons, Scott who will always be with us, Brian (Reena and sons) of British Columbia, Rowan (Jenny) of British Columbia, Marc (Elizabeth) of Ontario, Alex (Amy) of Ontario, Great-grandsons Dylan, Ethan, Ryan and Lucas. Born with a natural gift for working with her hands, Florence became a talented seamstress, spending countless hours sewing, crafting and bringing beauty into the world through thread and fabric. Whether she was stitching a quilt, adding details to handmade garments, or working on a new artistic project, she poured her heart into everything she made. A woman of profound religious faith, Florence lived her beliefs quietly but powerfully. Her compassion, generosity and devotion to prayer shaped her life.
