Frederick Timothy LeNeve
January 29, 1964 – December 7, 2025
It is with deep sadness that the family of Frederick “Fred” Timothy LeNeve of Sarnia, Ontario, announces his passing on December 7, 2025.
Born on January 29, 1964, in Sarnia to Ken and Shirley LeNeve, Fred built a life rooted in family, loyalty, and hard work. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Tracey; his children Ryan (Ashley), Kayla (Steve), and Taylor (Bryanna); and his cherished grandchildren Kameron, Bryson, Mitchell, Peyton, and Carly. He will also be deeply missed by his siblings Brenda (Steve) and Brian, and his nieces and nephews, who referred to him as Uncle Buck. Fred is predeceased by his son, Tyler.
Fred dedicated 35 years to his trade as a proud member of Carpenters Local 1256. Known for his straightforward honesty, dependable presence, and legendary morning breakfasts, he earned the respect of colleagues across the industry. He openly shared his knowledge and led by example, helping many develop their skills. His influence within the trade will be long remembered.
Outside of work, Fred enjoyed the things that kept him close to the people and places he loved: hunting and fishing, watching sports, cooking for others, and hosting friends. He spent many years coaching and mentoring youth, both in sports and at work. He loved a full garage, a good story, and time spent outdoors. His “Old Woman’s River” (OWR) crew will remember him fondly for the many years of friendship and tradition they shared.
Fred had a special way of lifting the mood wherever he went, often with a quick joke or perfectly timed dry remark. At home, he was a true family man someone who took care of everyone without ever seeking recognition, even when his efforts spoke louder than words ever could.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fred’s memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
The arrangements have been entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St, Sarnia, ON, N7T 5W9). Memories and messages of condolence may be sent through www.djrobb.on.ca
