George Sharen

At Bluewater Health, Mitton site on Friday, January 2nd, 2009. GEORGE MITCHELL SHAREN age 83 of Sarnia. Husband of the late Caroline Alice (Luckins) Sharen (2006). Loving father of George Sharen Jr., Patricia and Ross Dyke, James and Debra Sharen and predeceased by his son John A. Sharen (1978). Grandfather of Travis Dyke and Michelle Laird, Jared and Sharon Sharen, Stephanie and Dale Gauthier, Leonard and Carla Dyke, Marianne and Todd Woolaver, Nadine and Adam Raaymaker and Michael Sharen. 13 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and special cousins survive. Predeceased by his 2 brothers Carl and William Sharen. George was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge for the past 62 years. The TUSCAN LODGE # 437 will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm. A celebration of George's life will be held in the chapel of the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Thursday at 1:00 pm. Visitation will take place on Wednesday afternoon and evening between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Diabetes Association or to High Park United Church would be appreciated by the family (cheques only please).
