Henrietta Anna Peters

On Thursday, September 14, 2017, Henrietta Anna (Gatzke) Peters, age 76 of Sarnia passed away after a brief battle with cancer. She was the dear wife of the late Eldon Ross Peters (1983) and loving mother of Sarah Peters (Allen Lumley) and Bonnie Shoesmith (Michael of Sarnia. She was the grandmother of Gary Oliver, Justin Peters, Amanda Crow (Kevin), Randy Peters, Shannon Collette (Trevor), David Shoesmith, Melissa Peters, Derrick Peters (Rebecca Reid), great-grandchildren Joseph Martin, Charlotte Crow and Benjamin Crow. She leaves behind sisters Rosie, Wilhelmina and, Barb, brothers Jimmy and Charles. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Myna, her daughter Teresa and her son Gary. Henrietta loved doing her yardwork and loved art, crosswords and spending time with her family. Cremation has taken place and private interment of her ashes will follow later at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
