James Vernon Callfas

CALLFAS, JAMES – At Bluewater Health on Saturday, September 16, 2017, James “Jim” Vernon Callfas, age 76 of Corunna passed away. He is survived by his wife Elaine Flynn and daughters; Julie Pogontcheff (Craig), Pam Handy, Kristine Martelle (Paul) and Robyn Callfas (Todd Amerlinck), grandchildren Amy, Kayla, Lauren and Carmen, great-grandchildren Maguire and Watson. He is survived by his brother Frank Callfas and son in law Rick Handy. He was predeceased by his brother Murray (2009). Jim had retired from Sarnia Hydro after many years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing and golf. Friends may visit with the family at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Tuesday afternoon, September 19th   between the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Wednesday, September 20th at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Froomfield Cemetery in Corunna.
