James Thompson

THOMPSON, JAMES  - Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Bluewater Health, James Thompson passed away at the age of 88. He was predeceased by his wife Betty Ann Thompson (nee Griffin) 2009. He was the loving father of Jamie Thompson and Darrel Thompson, father-in-law of Kathy Thompson and dear grandfather of Aidan. He is also survived by his twin brother Derek of Toronto.  Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday, April 22, 2019 between the hours of 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Jim is retired from Fiberglas Canada in Sarnia after 25 years of service. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Ontario Foundation for Cerebral Palsy.  The family of Mr. Thompson would like to express their gratitude and appreciation for the compassionate care received from the team in the Telemetry Unit at Bluewater Health.  Arrangements are entrusted to the D.J.
