James Donald Thomson

THOMSON, JAMES – At St. Joseph’s Hospice on Friday, March 17, 2017, James Thomson, age 61 of Sarnia passed away. He was the loving husband of Debra Lynn (Sauve) Thomson and dear father of Sherrie (Nathan), Bradley (Darlene), Amie (Zeke) and Victoria (Stacey), Poppa of Jeffery, Talisman, Madeline, Samuel, Emma, Gavin, Cameron, Scamp, Clyde, Mr. McDuff, Rugby, Georgetta, Cleopatra and Bubba. He is also survived by sisters Bonnie, Valerie, Jean, Marie and Patricia. Jim will always remember his best friends Ron Thompson and Tony Hawco. He was predeceased by his parents Sarah and Don Thomson. Jim was employed with “Worley Parsons” and enjoyed his time with family (especially the birthday parties) and he loved building models and reading. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Jame's life will be held at the D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Sarnia Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the D. J.
