Janet Simon

JANET LYNNE SIMON, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012. Janet was born on July 11, 1951, daughter of the late Russell McGirr and Elizabeth é¢a‚A"Bettyé¢a‚ Wolsey of Sarnia. Long time partner of Robert é¢a‚A"Bobé¢a‚ Willshire. Mother of Tammy Simon (Doug George)of Kettle Point, Christopher Simon of Chatham, and Amanda of Sarnia. Proud Grandma to 6 grandchildren; Alicia Lefebvre (Jamie), Lindsey Noble (Carl Askin), Gage, Mathew, Andrew Simon and Kayden Simon. Great Grandma to 5 great grandchildren; Elizabeth é¢a‚A"Lizzyé¢a‚ Noble - Laracque, Mya - Lynne and Alice Lefebvre, James and Jenna Askin. She will be sadly missed by 1 nephew and several nieces. Survived by sisters Margaret Britton (Ray Whitworth) and Peggy Paquin of Sarnia. Janet was a member of the Ex-Servicemens Club of Point Edward and former employee of the Corunna Legion and the Brigden Legion and was also a member of Aamjiwnaang First Nation. Cremation has taken place and at Janet's request there will be no funeral service or visitation. A private é¢a‚A"Celebration of Lifeé¢a‚ will be held at a future date.
