Jean Charlotte Moody

Moody, Charlotte Jean- Passed away peacefully on Monday , January 30, 2017, at St. Joseph's  Hospice  House at the age of 92. Charlotte "Jean" is survived by nieces Blanche ( Raymer ) Weir,  Kathy ( Mike ) Mervich and Lori ( Don ) Hoffman and  many great nieces and nephews. She was the beloved wife of the late Leslie Alexander Moody and dear friend of the late Edward Kearney.

She was predeceased by her parents George and Ethel Wise and her sisters Edith Wise, Hazel Spring, Martha Lamb and Stella Bealer. Also predeceased by nieces Donna Havens and Beverly Wolfe.

"Jean" was a longtime, faithful member of Central United Church. She loved to go camping, do crossword puzzles and crochet. In the fall, she completed 37 milk bag mats in a 12 month period for the Third World, earning the honorary title as Central's Master Mat Maker.

She was housebound the last few years and appreciated the loving support of Helen Karr, Hazel Shymko, Lee Molitor, Nancy Andrews, VON caregiver Vicki Stothers and the Kearney family.

A remembrance and celebration of her life will be held at D. J. Robb Funeral Home Tuesday February 7. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1 - 2pm prior to the 2pm service officiated by Reverend Lilian Patey. Private burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery.
