Jim Somes

At his home on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, Jim Somes passed away peacefully in his wife's arms, surrounded by his children. Married for 35 years, Jim was a loving husband, a bestest friend to Dawn, a gentle man, and was very loving, caring and kind. A devoted father of three children, Charlie, Mark & Krista and seven grandchildren. He had strong family values, was fun loving and a practical joker. Jim loved spending time with his family and enjoyed woodworking, fishing and going to the lake. He was known as é¢a‚A"The Rocké¢a‚ by his co-workers and was the family's é¢a‚A"Herculesé¢a‚ and was always there for a friend in need. He will forever be missed and forever remembered. é¢a‚A"On angels wings he drifted away.é¢a‚ Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of the D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, July 13th at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Wyoming Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 am until time of service. Sympathy donations to the Salvation Army or St. Joseph's Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
