John Emery Lalonde

Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice, with his daughter by his side, John Emery Lalonde passed away on Monday, November 27,2023, at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Ann (Dunford) Lalonde who passed away in 2015. Loving father of Sharon (Kevin Crowell) Woodman and Brenda (Rob) Tully. Cherished grandfather to Mark Woodman, Ryan Tully, Andrew (Kendal) Tully, Laura (Kevin) Duensing and great-grandfather of Parker Woodman, Graham Tully, Finley Tully, Everett Tully, Casey Duensing, Molly Duensing, Willow Tully.Brother of Dorothy Severin and predeceased by brothers Eugene Lalonde, Robert (Bob) Lalonde, sisters Marjorie Merritt and Marie Spring.

John was a solid family man and dedicated his life to providing for, instructing and supporting his family. Dad always said “There’s no such thing as a bad day just some days are better than others.”

Cremation and a private family interment have taken place at Lakeview Cemetery. A Celebration of John’s life will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. to take place at 896 Tudor Close, East, Sarnia, ON. N7V 2Z7.
