It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Julie Eleanor Rogers at Bluewater Health on Friday, May 9, 2025 at the age of 70 years. Was the beloved mother of the late Jamie-Beth Rogers and Terry Anderson, Mother in law of Michelle Anderson, proud Grandma of the late Christopher John Proud-Eagle Rogers and the late Cheyenne Marena Jackson and the cherished Meemaw of Zachary Cloud, Makenzie Anderson-Rogers and Madison Rogers, great grandma of twins Isaac and Isaiah Jackson, Gage Jackson and expecting great-granddaughter Sherry-Lynn, Sister of Jacky Cunningham (late Mike N. Gadd), John Rose (Jan Cloud), Mike Rose (Irene) and Carol Rose and was predeceased by her cherished sister Cathy Champagne. She was the treasured daughter of Gertrude Eleanor White and John Rose and will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, her family and friends.

Julie loved all of her family and it’s hard to put into words what she meant to all of us, because she was so many things rolled up into one beautiful, silly and endlessly loving person. We will miss her hugs, talks, dancing and ability to always make us laugh. Julie fought bravely for so long, her battle is over and her soul is finally at peace.

Visitation will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia on Thursday, May 15, 2025 beginning at 11:00 am until the beginning of her funeral service at 12:00 o’clock noon. A time of food and fellowship will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Maawn Doosh Gumig Community & Youth Centre (1972 Virgil Avenue, Sarnia, ON N7T 7H5).
