Kenneth Stanley Bates

Peacefully at home at home on Sunday, January 21, 2024, Kenneth Stanley Bates of Point Edward passed away at the age of 64. Will be forever missed by his longtime companion Debbie Ayrheart. Also, will be greatly missed by his children Michael Bates (Jessica McCormick), Mathew. Loving grandfather to Emma, Trina, Brayden, Harlee – Lynn, Trinity, Haisley, Harmeny. Uncle to Cassie and Dwayne. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Pauline Bates, and siblings Rob and Wendy. Ken loved to spend time on the water fishing, ice fishing and spending his time at the beach and loved spending his time outdoors but most of all he had a heart of gold and would help anyone if he was able to. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will held at Stevie D’s (607 St. Clair Street, Point Edward, ON N7V 1P2) on February 4, 2024 between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Those who wish, donations in memory of Ken can be made to the Sarnia Humane Society - www.sarniahumanesociety.com/ways-to-give/ .
