Kenneth "Coach" Rowe

August 20, 1933 — June 1, 2021

Kenneth William Rowe (Coach) passed away peacefully at home on June 1, 2021, with his family by his side.

Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Marilyn (Stevens), son Steve Rowe, daughter Cindy Smith, and son Robert Rowe; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws Charlene (Ray) Tuplin, and Stella Stevens and several nieces and nephews.

Ken (Coach) spent many years involved in sports in Sarnia; including SMAA and the Gold Bat Tournaments.  He enjoyed golfing and loved coaching anyone with their game.  He organized and participated in many tournaments over the years. Ken was a proud friend of Bill W. for 56 years, always offering a smile, hug and helpful conversations.  Ken was the owner of Homeland Windows for 35 years, always helping the community with their home renovations.  Ken had many talents and one was creating beautiful Intarsia (wood art), which he passed his talent down to the family.  Everyone that knew Ken has a wonderful story to share and regarded him as a friend.  He will be missed by his family and friends.

Resting at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre where a private family service will be live streamed on Friday June 4, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. (www.djrobb.on.ca and click on Ken’s obituary then live stream).  Interment will follow at Hillsdale Cemetery in Petrolia.  Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Sarnia & District Humane Society.

Please note, as per the directive of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, all in attendance are required to social distance and to wear a face mask.
