Kevin Grant Olsen

Peacefully, Kevin Grant Olsen, passed away at Bluewater Health Sarnia on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of 50 years to Janet (nee Winward) Olsen. Loving father to Cameron (Allison), Nick (Caity).Cherished grandfather to Rowan & Avery. He is survived by his siblings Al (Donna), Jerry (Nicole), Tim (Deb), Tony (Joan) and Belinda and  in-laws Michael (Belinda), Sue (Jim), Paul (Anna) and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Alfred and Laurie Olsen.  

Kevin was a mechanic at Welland Chemical for over 28 years and a grounds supervisor at Resurrection and Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. He enjoyed motorcycles and working on many vehicles in his driveway for family and friends. Also, enjoyed many years playing fastball, bowling and Moto - cross riding in his younger years with his brothers and friends. But his true passion was spending quality time with his family.  

The family would like to thank Dr. Sanitanni and nurse Julie and the Cancer Clinic at Victoria Hospital in London, Dr. Crombeen and nurse extraordinaire Matt from Bayshore Health.  

Private cremation arrangements have taken place. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society https://support.cancer.ca.
