Leland Roe Antoine

Surrounded by the caring staff at Vision Nursing Home on Monday February 9, 2026 Leland Roe Antoine began his spirit journey to rejoin his ancestors at the blessed age of 85. Father of Gina Rogers and grandfather of Jackson, Harrison, Logan and Madeline. Brother of Janet and Ron. Also survived by special caregivers John & Norma and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents John and Iva, his brothers and sisters. Lee had the greatest work ethic, always travelling and willing to take on any challenge. New horizons were his “best Friend”. Native Pride, storytelling and laughter were his greatest gifts. After retirement his new Best Friend was home along the St. Clair River, fueling his soul with walks, friends and most importantly family.

A funeral service will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St. Sarnia, ON N7T 5W9) on Saturday February 14th at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from noon until service time. Interment will follow at Aamjiwnaang Cemetery.
