Lois Emeline Davies

DAVIES- LOIS EMELINE, (nee Henderson) of Sarnia, surrounded by her family passed away at Marshall Gowland Manor on February 12, 2017 at the age of 79. Beloved mother to Jim Davies (Lorie Ann), Doug Davies, Sue McGeachy (Dave) and Rick Davies (Wendy).  

Grandma to Brianna, Mike, Joshua, Caleb, Charity, Joel, Jewel, Shawna and Leah.   

Predeceased by, her husband Norman Davies (2000) and her sister Beryl Steadman. Lois was a long time employee at Polysar, she did so much with SMAA involvement, spent her time knitting, crafting and she was an avid teddy bear collector. Lois spent time in the garden and travelling with family and friends. She will always be remembered for her enormous generosity and her kind and gentle nature. The family would like to express their huge appreciation to the staff at Marshall Gowland Manor for their compassion and loving care for Lois during her stay there.

A Funeral service will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on February 17, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. William Steadman officiating. Visitation will take place on Thursday 16, 2017 between the hours of 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

In Lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Lois may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Sarnia Lambton.
