Louanne Gibbons

The family of Louanne Gibbons announce with great sorrow her passing on June 18, 2022.  Louanne bravely finished her battle with cancer and went home to be with her beloved daughter Lisa Ienco (2005) and her Grandmother “Ma”: (2021).  Lou was born December 4, 1960 in Wallaceburg and enjoyed growing up “on the farm”.  Where her fondest childhood memories were made with her “Ma” and sister Tammy.

Eventually she settled in Sarnia where she raised her children.  Lou will be deeply missed by her children – Gabriel (Adrianna) Ienco, Desiree (Tito) Gibbons, Kayleigh Gibbons.  Her parents Brent (Sonny) Gibbons, Ruth Ann (Ken) Amels.  Her sisters – Tammy (Lawrence) Duquette, Michelle (Ryan) Thomas, Michelle Gibbons.  Lou was a proud Nanny to – Riley, Layla, Phoebe, Gabriel Jr.  Loving aunt to her nieces and nephews – Amy Fox  (Josh Bouman), Keith (Danny) Fox, Blake, Austin, Peyton, Georgia, A.J. Lavelle.  Closest cousins Lenna and Litza.  Good friends Jada and Kate.  Plus many family members, friends, co-workers and fur babies. Louanne loved and was so proud of her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

  A Celebration of Life will be held at the D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 North, Victoria Street, Sarnia, ON N7T 5W9) on Thursday, June 23 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. until time of service.  For those unable to attend in person the service will be live-streamed at https://event.forgetmenotceremonies.com/ceremony?c=599754e7-6531-477d-8444-ed6b6eca3b74  Interment of ashes will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
