Matilda (Meta) Jane Scott

Peacefully at Bluewater Health on Thursday August 4, 2016 MATILDA (META) JANE (HARRIS) SCOTT age 86 of Sarnia.  Beloved wife of  62 years to John F. Scott.  Loving mother to Frances De Moel and her husband John, Joyce Handyside and her husband Tom and June Rigby and her husband Dave.  Cherished grandmother to Jennifer, Carolyn, Adam and Sean.  Dear sister to Bill Harris and his wife Isa.  Meta immigrated to Canada from Letterkenny County Donegal, Ireland in 1954 to start a new life with her husband.  Resting at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE where services will be held on Tuesday August 9th at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday afternoon and evening from the hours of 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.  Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Canadian Red Cross.
