Peacefully on Friday September 12, 2025 Maureen Dorothy (Rymill) Ross passed away at Bluewater Health Palliative Care Unit at the age of 88yrs. Beloved wife of the late Frederick Grant Ross (2002). Loving mother of Charlotte (Ross) Fisher and Tom Ross (Cindy). Cherished grandmother of Rachel (Fisher) Ajayi and her husband Nelson, Eric Fisher and Laura Fisher. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Maurice Rymill and June Walker. Predeceased by her daughter Mary Ross and sisters Joyce and Evelyn. Maureen arrived in Ontario from Sherbrook, QC to work for Bell Canada in London. After moving to Sarnia she obtained her diploma as draft person and worked at the plants in Sarnia. She was an avid reader, card player and crafter. Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at Pinehill Cemetery, Thedford. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice www.stjosephshospice.ca or the Palliative Care Unit of Bluewater Health www.bluewaterhealth.ca A special thank you to the doctors and nurses of the Palliative Care Unit at Bluewater Health for their compassion and care of our mother.
