Michael John Smythe

Sadly, on Sunday February 21, 2021 our Mike, peacefully and with family at his side, passed away at the age of 41.

He was the proud father of Quinn, Raeanna, James and Leland, Loving son of the late John Smythe - Herb Chappelle Sr. Survived by his mother Yvonne Chappelle. Brother to Joe (Nicole) Smythe, Cory (Danielle) Chappelle, Dylan, Hollie (Nick), Herb Jr. Jolene (Randy) Hall, the late Tina Devost and Brent Lee Chappelle, John Smythe Jr., Paul (Becky), Rick Loxton, Bonnie, Cheryl (Lyle), the late Jamie Smythe and Doug Smythe. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mike sure was one of a kind. He was hardworking and loyal to his family & many friends. If Mike said he was going to do something IT WOULD GET DONE!

Mike worked as a carpenter since he was 16 years old in Sarnia, he worked most with Superior Framing.

Cremation and a private funeral will take place. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation.
