Myrtle Kameka

After a brief illness, MYRTLE ROSE KAMEKA (nee Eldemire), at the age of 85 ascended into the loving arms of Jesus at Palliative Care Bluewater Health on Sunday, October 28, 2012. Myrtle was predeceased by her beloved husband Franz Xavier, daughter Beverly, grandson Shane and granddaughter Caroline. Myrtle was the loving mother of Del Kameka and his wife Cheryl, Fritz Kameka and his wife Yvonne, Joan DeJesus and her husband Danny, Rose Colombo and her husband Pat, and Lona Miller and her husband Mike. Myrtle will be sadly missed by her grandchildren; Kelly, Chad, Shawn, Stacey, Tania, Krista, Brett, Catherine and Justin. Myrtle leaves behind seventeen adored great grandchildren and several brothers and sisters. Myrtle retired from Sears Canada after many years of service. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Church with Father Jim Higgins , the celebrant on Friday, November 2, 2012, at 9:00 am. Myrtle is resting at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME where family will receive visitors on Thursday November 1, 2012 , between 6 pm and 9 pm. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to Palliative Care at Bluewater Health.
